HALCYON VI, a 78-metre motor yacht, seen close from the water in Port Hercule, Monaco, by day: her white decks above a navy hull, a tender alongside, the Rock behind her.

Superyachts

A superyacht, shown before she is boarded.

One page for one yacht. As the reader scrolls, she comes in from the sea, over the passerelle and up to the bridge, every deck to scale. On any phone, before a viewing aboard is arranged.

What the buyer sees

From the open sea to the bridge.

HALCYON VI

In from the sea across a full harbour, aboard over the passerelle, up the stair to the bridge; one switch shows her at night.

  1. A tender running in across calm water past a motor yacht at anchor off Monaco, with the cliffs of the Rock, the town and the mountains behind, on a clear day.
01Offshore — a yacht at anchor off the Rock
  2. HALCYON VI from above: a navy-hulled motor yacht moored stern-to at the end of a row of yachts, her passerelle down to a quay lined with palms.
02HALCYON VI — at the end of the row, stern-to
  3. The aft deck of HALCYON VI by day: a long teak table laid with glasses and plates under the deckhead, the salon’s dark glass behind it, the town of Monaco beyond the rail.
03Aboard — the table laid on the aft deck
  4. HALCYON VI’s central stair from its lower steps: lit treads curving up under a dark wooden handrail and a glass balustrade, alabaster discs hanging in the stair’s eye.
04The stair — climbed as a guest would climb it
  5. The stern of HALCYON VI on an ivory set: the transom platform lowered, the garage open with its tenders inside, the decks stepping up above.
05The beach club — the stern opened, the tenders in the garage
  6. The last view, by night: HALCYON VI lit at the end of her row, the harbour’s lights on the water and Monte-Carlo beyond.

For the trade

What a broker does with it.

  1. 01

    The mandate.

Before the central agency agreement is signed, show the owner how their yacht would be presented: this page on the table at the first meeting, then the same for their yacht once the listing is yours.

  2. 02

    The private viewing.

A buyer or a charterer walks her first, on their own phone and at their own pace: in from the sea, aboard over the passerelle, through the salon and up to the bridge, before anyone flies to the boat.

  3. 03

    The launch.

The day she comes to market or opens her charter season: one link for the buyers’ brokers, the newsletter and the boat-show invitations, with the specification beside the picture on every screen.

  4. 04

    Discretion.

Off-market, for a single buyer: one private link, kept out of search and taken down when she is sold. Her name can stay off the page, and the drawings can come under NDA.

The commission

One object, one page, one fixed price.

What the studio needs.

The general arrangement and the specification, then one walk-through aboard or one call. A new build still on paper: the drawings are enough.

What you receive.

One page for her, composed for the desk and for the phone; stills from the same scene; by day and by night where she calls for it. The camera goes where her buyer would ask to go first: the owner’s suite, the guest cabins, the sun deck and the beach club, as set out in the quote. A private link, or a page on your own domain with your mark, contact and disclaimer.

Price.

A fixed price, in writing, within a day of your enquiry: no day rates and nothing added later.

Questions

Six answers for brokers.

01What does the studio need from the yard or the owner?

The general arrangement and the specification of the yacht, then one walk-through aboard, or one call if she is far away. From them she is modelled to scale: deck heights, door widths, the tender in its garage. For a new build still on paper, the drawings are enough.

02Can it show her for charter as well as for sale?

Yes. The words beside the picture are written for the reader: the specification and the layout for a buyer; the guests, the crew and the cruising grounds for a charterer. Both can be made from the same scene, each on its own link.

03How is it different from a virtual tour or a brochure?

A 360° tour shows rooms from fixed points, and a brochure shows chosen pictures. A showcase is one continuous camera path that the reader steers with the scroll: in from the sea, aboard and up the stair, in the order she would be shown, with the specification beside the picture where it matters. It can show what a camera cannot: a yacht still in build, or the same deck by day and by night.

04Can it stay off-market?

Yes. It can be opened by a single private link, kept out of search engines and taken down when she is sold. Her name and her owner can stay off the page, and the drawings can be sent under NDA.

05Is HALCYON VI a real yacht?

No. HALCYON VI is a concept, invented so that every deck could be shown. She is modelled to scale, and Port Hercule around her is built from map data.

06What does it cost?

One fixed price for the yacht, in writing, within a day of your enquiry, with no day rates and nothing added later.

HALCYON VI is not for sale. Yours is.
